  Our daughter-in-law, Jennifer Pugh, Community Relations Advisor for A Place For Mom, INC. recognized that my husband needed home health care assistance caring for me, as I have ALS. Jen contacted Kristen Parker, her Senior Living Advisor who sent us list of three agencies with FirstLight Home Care at the top. We contacted FirstLight and spoke to Shannon Atwood, Care coordinator and set an appointment. Shannon came to our home and spent 2.5 hours with us and left no questions or concerns unanswered. She told us that she had the perfect caregiver in mind for us. Enter the one and only Ann DeFrancesco.
  
  I haven't been this happy or laughed so much in a long time. Ann makes me forget I'm sick. She doesn't baby me, nor treat me like a fragile lady and encourages me to try things on my own, but at the same time, keeps me safe. Ann quickly learned my family, friends and what's important to me especially our two dogs. They loved her as quickly as we did. I sincerely believe that Ann has added time to my life through laughter and happiness. I am willing to share Ann but will never give her up. Thank you FirstLight Home Healthcare for bringing Ann into our lives.
